The split cable hook stopper has the following benefits:
- stops wear and tear on your rollers from the hook which can cause cable wear
- protects the winch motor and gears from pulling the cable in too far
- keeps the tension to stop the cable from coming loose
- has slits designed to work as an anti-kick back for the cable in case it was to snap
